Surfing is a technical and highly mental sport. Our mindset when we paddle out is a key component to a successful skill level and we must remember to always have fun. Knowledge is power and the more we can apply our knowledge and repeat in order to improve, we are in a good place.

Surfing is also a very physical and intuitive sport. When we go within and tap into our intuition, we feel into the natural shape of the waves as they dissolve and reform. Surfing is a holistic experience of a mind, body, heart, and soul connection. It’s when we are in alignment and operating from the guidance of our intuition, knowledge, and physical senses that allows us to fully immerse in our own surfing experience while improving each time we paddle out. This is also a way in which we can return to our nature, by tapping into the same mind, body, heart, and soul connection within us calling us to return home. 

How to Connect with your Intuition? A Surfing Journey

How do we do this? We get to know ourselves and how we are processing and applying information. We learn about the 7 Chakra System which allows us to listen to our intuition tapping into our hearts and natural truth; free from conditioning. Our body’s consciousness has a pulse and narrative asking us to listen so that stagnant and stuck energy so we can move through and release from mental and physical stress. And relax. Just relax. The human body is our most advanced technology. Our ability to heal, manifest, and create is beyond what the mind can understand. The key is to get the mind on board with our intuition, our hearts; all of which are led by the guidance of our soul within. Our 7 Chakra system shows us the way within and the way home within ourselves. Perhaps this is a new concept, take what resonates and leave the rest. 

How does one recover their nature through surfing and our connection to Nature?

We surf the waves of the ocean and we listen to our inner guidance. When we apply our knowledge from our 7 Chakra System, we create a connection of synergy and flow between our mind, body, heart, and soul.

Why connect surfing and the Cosmos?

Because we are made up of the stars, the Universe, the Moon dictates the tides, and we are all connected to Nature. Listen to your inner voice and she will speak softly to you. 

The function of Pluto is about evolution, change, and metamorphosis. This is when the caterpillar becomes the butterfly. Pluto penetrates on a soul level allowing for us within the human experience to realize what it has outgrown, reached its limitations, and time to change into a new form. Pluto reveals truth and will dismantle what is no longer aligned with our soul’s nature. Pluto sheds a light on our true empowerment moving forward. 

The function of Uranus is rapid transformation rooted from the subconscious and what is disturbing our nervous system. It correlates to our long term memory. Uranus does correlate to trauma and liberation from previous conditioning; truth, revolution, and freedom. It’s the rebel within us claiming our freedom from the known. Uranus shows us what is outgrown, ready to be changed, and creatively self actualized into a new path that is aligned with who you naturally are. 

The function of Saturn is the container of our consciousness which includes the reality we create in the world. Saturn represents our conditioning based on the reality that we can see, feel, and touch. It correlates to how we see the world and how we are conditioned to live. When we are ready to decondition from one reality and create a new one, Saturn will begin to peel the layers of how we saw the world that are not meant to move forward with us.  

The presence and function of Pluto and Uranus will speak to this Saturn with truth and metamorphosis that’s ready to manifest in our physical realities. 

Original Lilith was Adam’s first wife within the myth of Adam and Eve. Lilith would not succumb to Adam’s demands as she desired to remain whole unto herself and stand within the relationship dynamic as her own person.  Her own energy. That was not liked by Adam and Lilith fled the garden, never to be seen again. Lilith represents our undistorted soul’s nature, where we remain whole unto ourselves. No one and nothing can break this seal. Lilith is who we are rooted within our nature, our values, our strength, and our energy where we are loyal to honoring who we are on a soul level. She is the divine feminine and divine masculine rooted in natural laws; giving, sharing, and inclusion. Having discernment is key.

Our human minds are a beautiful resource giving us all the ways in which to co-create, learn, and utilize this phenomena of knowledge, memories, sensory tools, and so on. I am not a scientist, though I do know and understand on a soul level the essence of how the Chakra system works with our energy field in that we are an immutable consciousness that travels from form to form; from life to life. Jeffrey Wolf Green, the Founder of Evolutionary Astrology has been lecturing about this since the 1980’s and other Spiritual Mentors/Teachers before him…which is nothing different than what the Buddhists themselves were conveying at the time of their merging with consciousness. The Gemini New Moon takes place at 5:38AM, PST at 16 degrees and is conjunct exactly with the Sun (that’s what makes it a new moon cycle) and it is conjunct with Venus. These personal planets are beginning a brand new cycle together, setting intentions within the dynamics of relationships and how we communicate within them in relation to our overall ideas as well. This Venus is significant because she is the ruler of the South Node of the Moon in Libra; so we are in this 18 month process of letting go and deconditioning from the ways in which we have interacted with relationships that have created imbalances within our lives and first and foremost; an imbalance within ourselves. Other examples are codependency, a loss of sovereignty of self within relationships. We are designed to evolve, so we are in the process of letting go and constantly ushering in the new. Because this Venus is conjunct the New Moon in Gemini, she is purifying and setting a new intention based on what she has learned about herself when it comes to self love and self value over the last four years. She has just completed her superior conjunction (a Venus Full Moon conjunct the Sun) with the Sun days before this New Moon; so relationship energies are potent.

Takeaway is to connect with your inner voice and listen to what is vibrating with possibility that wants to create and manifest what is in alignment with who you naturally are. 

While this New Moon in Gemini conjunct Venus is happening, these celestial bodies are in a 1st quarter square with Saturn in Pisces at 18 degrees. This is a feeling of limitation and perhaps, NO, do not go there. Saturn in Pisces is showing us what we are ready to emotionally process that has been repressed and it is showing us the outer and inner structures of our lives that are ready to dissolve and take new form. Saturn in Pisces is also our intuition; Saturn is guiding us home to ourselves so that we can rebirth what is naturally ours and connected to Natural Law (Jupiter/Sagittarius). Take note of what feels like it has a stop sign within your life. Take a moment and process what feels like it has a green light in your life. Because each of these personal planets, the Sun, Moon, Venus, and Mercury will all square Saturn in the next week showing us what qualifies us to move forward in our lives and what does not. The more we can strengthen our relationship with our inner voice and intuition, the more we will be aligned with who we naturally are; our natural truth within. There may be grief that comes up during this time and that’s okay because we are meant to experience endings, to let go, and to rise again. We are also in a culminating stage of multiple consciousnesses that have been trying to control us for Centuries. No more, the time has come to shift and break free from the known. 

A few days after this New Moon and the square to Saturn takes place, these personal planets will sextile Chiron in Aries which will be some sort of a new and different alternative remedy that is in alignment with your new path. 

Keep in mind that Mars is finishing his time in Aries. He is finishing this cycle with new found knowledge of what it means to be courageous, to connect to his intuition and to trust the inner guidance system within him. Mars is our masculine energy, he is our agency of self. It is very possible that this is the first time this lifetime that we are developing and cultivating a healthy agency of self. And this Mars has been integrating healing, wisdom, and a new respect for his choices moving forward. Pay attention to what is driving your desires; is it coming from the mind or your intuition. This Mars has evolved and is learning how to act from his intuition and then to utilize the mind as his tool for success and alignment with self. 

All while this is happening, Jupiter is at 2 degrees of Gemini trining that Pluto in Aquarius. Jupiter in Gemini is at the beginning of a brand new 12 year cycle and is ready to create from all the new ideas that are in resonance with our natural truths which are rooted in a new belief system that is developing from within.  This Jupiter is excited and can feel overwhelmed. When the mind feels fatigue, go back within and meditate. Allow your intuition to reemerge with a recharged battery that can support your mind to align with your inner voice. The trine from Jupiter to Pluto is an ongoing demolition of what no longer empowers you. It is a demolition of the ways in which we have disassociated from trauma and or difficult moments in our lives that caused stress that is waiting to break free. It comes down to getting in alignment with one’s truth. To release what is no longer giving you value and is keeping you from your freedom. Take a moment and take note of anything and everything that keeps you in a limited space whether that be emotionally, physically, energetically, mentally, and spiritually. Get honest and get real. It’s time to release it and create space for what is yours and is aligned with who you naturally are.

A Full Moon is when the Sun and Moon are in direct opposition to one another. The Moon lights up in its fullest form as the Sun shines a light on dynamics that are rising within our consciousness. When there’s an opposition between celestial bodies, something must be thrown off and catapulted into change. This particular Full Moon in Sagittarius is ruled by Jupiter, the celestial body that represents expansion, intuition, and wisdom. It’s important to recognize that Jupiter is in Taurus during this Full Moon transit and is therefore ruled by Venus who currently resides in Taurus as well. Venus is the ruler of the South Node of the Moon of Libra; the ending and letting go of relationships with others we are no longer in resonance with on a soul level. Perhaps, we have simply outgrown the codependent patterns around acquiescing for the other because we are expected to be a certain way.  Let’s break this down in all its Venusian themes. 

Welcome to Gemini Season! Starting off this Full Moon Energy is the Sun in Gemini trining Pluto in Aquarius at 2 degrees; we are aware of what we are done with, liberating from, and creatively self actualizing for our future selves long term.

The Full Moon takes place at 2 degrees, 55 minutes, which means we round up to 3 degrees of Sagittarius on May 23rd, 2024. The Sun opposes the Moon at the same degree point in Gemini. In general terms, Gemini correlates to the human mind, our short term memory, reality, and our ability to gather information in order to formulate thoughts and opinions. Sagittarius correlates to our intuition, our perception of truth, our beliefs that are based on our values that create the reality we experience. Sagittarius carries the torch of wisdom, is a teacher in the most intellectual ways, and also holds the key to our authenticity and truth. Sagittarius, Jupiter, and the 9th house are based in Natural Law and Natural Truths of the Universe; our connection to nature and timeless values. Gemini brings in the information and Sagitarrius brings in the truth and wisdom. Keep in mind that Gemini correlates to choices, discernment of information in order to gather the facts; the truth. Though, as we know there are always two sides to every story wherein lies perception of truth. With this Gemini/Sagitarrius axis we are confronting and flowing through the ebb and flow of authenticity and truth; perception of truth. 

This Full Moon is ruled by Jupter as mentioned, which is in the sign of Taurus. Venus, the ruler of Taurus is in a new phase conjunction with Jupiter as this correlates to our inner relationship to self. What is my inner voice communicating to me now, what are my values now as I am resonating with new values and a new way of relating to myself in an authentic way. Both Jupiter and Venus are in a new phase in conjunction with Uranus, therefore this correlates to a change in our inner vibration, our inner magnetism; a rapid change in what feels natural and unique to us on a soul level. This is the path of freedom from the known, though we may not know the path forward and are called to trust. We are healing on a soul level and we are graduating from many levels and triumphs of relationship dynamics with self and others. We are returning to who we naturally are on a soul level and embodying our soul’s nature. 

Because of all of this Tuarus energy taking place in relation to Uranus, the planet of freedom from the known, deconditioning, truth, liberation, and transformation; we are experiencing the tangible endings to our previous relationship to self that has been recovering one’s nature and freeing oneself from previous conditions based on man made structures and laws. This is the changing of guards of relationships generally speaking, in tangible form. What we needed that served great purpose at one time in our lives is being revealed to us and how far we have come during this Full Moon in Sagittarius. Take a moment and reflect on how far you have come. 

Venus, Jupiter, and Uranus in Taurus are in a Crescent Phase Sextile to Neptune at 29 degrees + some change in Pisces. This is the anoretic degree and something is culminating at a soul level. This Sextile aspect speaks into a soul level graduation of healing and transformation from the conditioned past; though we are meant to go inward to self discover the new version of us rooted in natural truth and law. This goes back to Venus being the depositing ruler of this Full Moon; how do we inner relate to ourselves what values are now in alignment with what feels natural to us. What feels good to us in an authentic way.

Mercury in Taurus is in a balsamic  phase to Uranus in the same sign. Pay close attention to the thoughts and narrative that has been conditioning your self worth and value. This balsamic energy is showing us the ways in which we have been operating from a conditioned state of wounds, trauma, and a belief that we are unworthy and or not enough on some level. It’s possible some of us feel unable to take action just yet as Mars is in a new phase conjunction to the North Node of the Moon, yet balsamic to Chiron in Aries. This energy speaks into our feeling of ‘we are not enough and or cannot take space as who we instinctively are’. This energy also embodies the energy of not feeling confident in trusting our gut. In many ways, our conditioned reality of the past has been paralyzing for us to trust our instincts and make healthy choices from a secure agency of self. The beautiful part about this Full Moon in Sagittarius is that we are being given the information and the wisdom of many lessons that have been taking place for the last 30 years and perhaps for some, many prior lifetimes. The teachings of Jupter, Sagittarius, and the 9th house correlate to needing to give something up in order to receive the gifts. For many, this has resulted in giving up an old conditioned self based on false authenticity, and also relationships that we have outgrown simply because we have changed. Though, remember these cosmic energies are personal to everyone based on their unique energy signature and natal chart. For example, there are many relationships that will re-emerge in 2025/2026 during the official new starts when Saturn and Neptune meet up in Aries, beginning a brand new 30 year and 165 year cycle(s). So, pay attention to the wisdom and lessons this Full Moon is bringing as it may correlate to a reconfiguration taking place in order for us and like minded souls to align naturally and intrinsically on a soul level. Trust in that we are the realms of the freedom from the known in order to liberate and center into our nature. 

Lastly, as Venus is the ruler of the South Node of the Moon in Libra, she is in this new phase of energy with Jupiter and Uranus. As mentioned this is us beginning a brand new relationship to self in resonance to pure self love and self worth rooted in Natural Law. We have changed within, therefore our relationships are changing and rightly so. This Venus and Jupiter in a Gibbous Phase to the S.N. of the Moon ruled by this Venus, therefore there is a calling to self improvement. To keep doing our Taurus work, to stay the course and ground into who we naturally are, reflecting our renewed sense of self worth and value. Take ownership of the new beginnings, the new energy reviving our nature and the letting go of what no longer resonates, feels good, and holds long term value to us within. 

We are moving forward in tangible form into the new beginnings that are rooted in who we uniquely are on a soul level and who we naturally are in connection to our life force energy. We are beginning to embody the nature in which we are designed to be.

This is a feeling of renewal and a deep desire to CREATE because on a soul level, you are perhaps returning to your nature and are READY to create the new path, the new reality, the new dream in a tangible way. 

This New Moon is ruled by Venus who is in her home sign of Taurus. Venus is everything we love, value, and enjoy on this Earthly plane. She is the archetype of how we inner relate to ourselves. How we listen to the narrative taking place within. How do you talk to yourself and how connected are you to your inner voice? 

Remember, a New Moon is when the Moon meets up with the Sun and they begin a brand new cycle. This New Moon is part of the start of a brand new Evolutionary cycle in a tangible way. A key question to ask is how each of us fits into the years to come when A.I. (Artificial Intelligence)  will make an effort to take over the human heart. We must get intouch with our hearts on a deeper soul level that allows us to raise our vibration and operate through our hearts, not the mind. The intellectual mind (Mercury) is a powerful tool that we need in order to creatively self actualize in this human experience and to contribute to the greater whole. Though, it is not meant to be the source from which we operate. As a collective, we are recovering from centuries of patriarchal dominance, man made laws and structures that are against natural law and natural truths. A mis-use and abuse of the masculine; an abuse of power of the mind, control, and a projection of power. A source that has created separation; a concept and idea that we are not equal. This way is not rooted in natural law and natural truths. The Divine Feminine is rising and we are returning to our nature; a nature of unconditional love, sharing, giving, receiving, and inclusion; of being of service. This starts with aligning ourselves in a strongly  seeded foundation of self love, a deep knowing that we are worth it and that we are enough; a knowing that we have everything we need. 

This New Moon, conjunct the Sun at 18 degrees is trining Ceres, the planetary body that represents our soul’s motherly and nurturing nature. Ceres reminds us what it means to heal from loss and to continue forth with nurturing, compassion, and emotional security. She embodies Cancer energy and calls us into creating security within, to nurture from within; and how we give and receive nurturance. (George & Bloch, 1986) Ceres is also known to rule the Taurus/Scorpio Axis in addition to Virgo. What this speaks into is self love, self worth, nurturing oneself from within to have inner security, to learn and own mothering ourselves in a healthy way, and to be of service; to be the natural healers we are aligning with our soul’s nature. This is a 1st Quarter Trine, which means we are absorbing and processing the ways in which we have not nurtured ourselves from within, and that we have sought out security outside of ourselves which has diluted our sense of self worth and ruptured our natural sense of inner security. We are realizing these ways in order to liberate and free ourselves from what does not feel aligned with our sense of security, our inner strength of nurturing our hearts. As we realize these old ways and patterns in a conscious way, through this Trine, we liberate and creatively self actualize the new path forward in alignment with our soul’s nature of creating security from within. To nurture ourselves with our needs and to remember we are our best mother to ourselves before we embody the energy of mothering another. This can feel like a stand still, because we need to sit in the old way as Spirit gifts us with revelations and truths; a way through the tunnel towards our own inner light. And in those moments of realizations and freedom; we create a different way forward. 

This New Moon is also sextiling Saturn in a Crescent Phase so this will feel as if we are going inward to reflect and form a plan in what we CREATE next; the how will come through our creative and higher intelligence. Saturn, the planet that represents our physical reality, boundaries, limitations, and structure is supporting us to process and reflect on this new form of ourselves that is birthing in a tangible way. 

The Sun and Moon are also in conjunction with Uranus and Jupiter in Taurus, all ruled by Venus. Uranus and Jupiter are also trining Ceres while inconjunct Pallas Athena in Sagittarius. What does this mean? Essentially, our sense of value, truth, belief systems, and value systems of the past are decaying. We are birthing our new value, truth, and value systems; a structure that fulfills our inner emotional security that supports our individual and unique nature.  This is  taking shape  at quantum speeds. This New Moon is showing us how these new values, truths, belief systems, and value systems are actualizing. As they actualize, we are processing the details and information of how the past, our former reality took shape; based on what conditioning, and how we have made choices based on the subconscious conditioning and belief systems that shaped our reality. We are no longer operating from those subconscious beliefs that kept us enslaved, entrapped, feeling unworthy, and feeling small. Your soul will show you this information however you are ready to receive it. This is why integrating a meditation practice in your daily life is important and beneficial for each individual; to open up this dialogue with your heart and soul so that your human mind can align. Life is about choices; these are ways we can align with our best foot forward for the long term future. 

During this transit, Mercury is conjunct Chiron in Aries ruled by Mars in Aries who is READY TO GO. Though, it’s not quite time as our human mind is learning about these wounds that have kept us in a loop with the perception of no way out. This Mercury is showing us what he has learned from Chiron so that our wounds can transmute into our medicine and when this process takes place, our medicine becomes our mentor. And this is what we share with the world in a giving, sharing, and inclusion way. 

Without going too much into the awful acts of war that are currently taking place in the world, it is important to recognize that these are acts operating from an over use and abuse of the Ego, the human mind. It is an overuse and abuse of power created by man made structures and man made laws over Centuries. This is a healing New Moon as this time during these years through 2030 and perhaps the next twenty years while Pluto is in Aquarius is a time of confronting our trauma and learning new ways to process this energy into healing and unity consciousness. This is where accessing the heart (Leo, opposite to Aquarius) comes into play and is necessary for humanity on both an individual and collective level. 

How do we access the heart? We meditate and set an intention to ask, ‘what does my heart tell me’? Your heart will respond eventually through your inner voice; through your intuition. We connect to Nature however it resonates with us. This can involve the desire to learn how to surf and in my experience, playing golf most of my life led me to this point of seeding my work in helping others Return to their Nature. I LOVE the ocean and in many ways has been my greatest intuitive guide. Though, she is simply a reflection of the wisdom that already lives within my intuition. The inner door to our soul is always open. Waiting for us.

We create our own reality. Better yet, we are manifesting co-creators with the Universe. The best way to navigate the current energy is to ask ourselves what our relationship to our inner voice is.

Can we identify our intuition, the whispers of our soul; our inner voice?
Do we trust the Universe is always taking care of us and providing what we need?
Yes. This requires discerning which is valuable to practice everyday in my humble opinion. 

Full Moon in Leo: What is Actually Showing Us

This FULL MOON in LEO is showing us from within our heart space that it is time to own our energy as sovereign. We are sovereign, multi-dimensional beings that are deeply loved and connected to the divine wisdom of the Universe that lives within each and every one of us. This FULL MOON in LEO is showing us that we are the LEADER of our lives. We are to own our self worth and value and to honor our creative gifts. This is our time to creatively self actualize our long term vision AND to own who we are, what we are here to contribute from our inner value and sense of self worth. 

When we operate from a place of heart alignment and harmony within, we are helping everyone else around us to do the same. When we all honor ourselves and our energy, our worth, our self love, we being of service to everyone on the planet. We are helping Mother Earth. This FULL MOON in LEO takes place at 9:54AM, PST on January 25th, 2024. Pluto, the planet that represents our soul’s journey, truth, and metamorphosis, is now in Aquarius while the Moon is at 5 degrees of Leo opposing the Sun in Aquarius.

What are we claiming moving forward and are we truly connected to what is in our hearts?

It’s time to trust and to empower ourselves into the unknown. To let go of the past and all of the ways in which we gave our power away to external authorities. It’s time to release and let go of what previously constituted our inner security that no longer resonates.

In fact, Mars is in a balsamic conjunction to Pluto while still in Capricorn before he joins Pluto in Aquarius in February. Mars is our personal will, our desires, and our ability to take action. This energy feels like wearing a pair of jeans that you know very well, DO NOT FIT anymore and it’s time to give them away and or throw them away. They have worn their last day. It’s time to go. To let go, to trust and CHOOSE your own power to manfirest and co-create the reality you desire that is rooted in your heart’s space. 

Ritual Inspiration for the Full Moon

Every new and full moon, I light a tall white candle. I label it with which lunar cycle it is and then I journal on a giant Postid pad to flush out what is streaming through my consciousness. I invite you to create your own ritual that works for you. Perhaps you are feeling that being in community for a ritual is what you desire and that is beautiful; whatever resonates with you. 

I personally have been going through a Uranis transit for a year and a half and this equates to being in a very unstable an unpredictable cycle that has catapulted me into looking at my true sense of self and value. I’ve been in a cocoon prior to flourishing into the Butterfly. I’m ready to creatively self actualize. I wish the same for you.  I am excited and I feel this lunar cycle IS POWERFUL FOR EVERYONE. Our soul’s are cheering for us as we move through and navigate in these brand new accelerating energies. 

Full Moon in Leo: Chiron in Aries is also happening

On the same day as the FULL MOON in LEO, Mars in Capricorn squares, Chiron in Aries.
Chiron in Aries is the wounding in all of us around I AM; am I worthy, am I enough, do I matter.

YES WE ARE worthy, enough, and matter.
YES! This will feel like a purge of wounds coming up within your consciousness that is meant to be  looked at and observe what you are healing in this moment.
To objectively see the wound from a higher perspective of your healed self. This is an opportunity to allow the tears to flood out of your system and acknowledge YOU ARE OKAY. And to honor HOW FAR YOU HAVE COME. Process these moments and honor this.

Overall, this is a revolutionary time of change on an evolutionary level.

We are ascending and advancing at an accelerating rate where we will be confronted with the battle between our hearts and AI.
When we connect to our hearts and live from our heart’s truth in a vulnerable way that becomes natural in our everyday lives, we are honoring ourselves while also honoring everyone around us.

Every New Moon  is where the moon conjuncts the sun and they begin a new cycle together. It’s a time to set a new intention for the 6 months ahead that relates to the themes and archetype of Capricorn. The sign of Capricorn is ruled by Saturn, the ruler of time space, reality, conditioning, limitation, boundaries, the long term, social structures and constructs, and authority. How have we been conditioned versus develop our natural sense of self?

We as humans have this phenomena called our intuition which is connected to our heart. Our intuition communicates through allegory, emotion, and a deep sense of knowing; trusting. Our bodies are the most advanced technology we have; we are empowered manifesting co-creators. We are remembering who we are and what we are capable of.

On the contrary, we have lived centuries driven by the mind, the masculine side of our yin and yang. Furthermore, we have been living under a patriarchal society for thousands of years.

As we enter the Aquarian Age, we can say that this New Moon is kicking off Pluto’s ingress into the sign of Aquarius and catapulting us into the Aquarian Age.  A time to rebalance our masculine and feminine energies. o individuate and free ourselves from previous conditioning (Capricorn).

When we have an intuitive idea that we know in our hearts is possible, our mind, our ego will naturally try to shut it down. The mind is a powerful tool that is a contributing part of the puzzle that makes us brilliant. We are building a new life of long term value (Venuse) for ourselves that is linked to creating what we previously thought was not possible, yet our intuition says, ‘yes it is’.

This is a time of trusting what you know is best for you to build and to honor your self worth even if you do not have the proof in front of you.  On the other side of your vision, which you feel in your heart is possible.  That is where we are going. Can you trust in what you do not see yet, but you sense and feel is possible for yourself. There is such a thing called mind control where lower energies and vibrations keep you in the lower planes of battling your shadow and remaining enslaved by themes around low self worth. Remaining in this space is not for our best and highest good, so we get to choose to go higher.  What can we learn from our shadow and allow it to empower us to be the best version of ourselves and evolve.  To connect to our HEART. To set intentions for your long term visions and goals around what you are building now. 

Keep in mind that this new moon in Capricorn happens at 21 degrees of Capricorn, the same degree point of where Saturn and Pluto had their conjunction back in 2020 that initiated the pandemic. We have been recovering, healing, and working towards creating a new dream since then and it’s been messy.

It’s been like going through a maze, a zig zag and many unknowns. Now we have support in building what we already know we value and is meaningful to us. We are also letting go of whatever we have been enslaved to over a long period of time that we have been confronting, dissolving, healing, transmuting, and breaking free from. 

This is a transit, an energy of owning your power, of owning who you are. State your claim and honor that you are no longer a previous version of yourself and this is the moment you self actualize this as your new reality.

We are the creators of our own reality and it starts with connecting to our heart, to our emotions, to the higher vibrations of self worth so that we can create thoughts in our minds that align with this truth.

This aspect is supporting you in disseminating what you are ready to liberate yourself from that is not supporting your creative purpose and your emotional needs. We are building (Jupiter in Taurus) the new dream (Saturn in Pisces) for the long term. Saturn is the ruler of this New Moon and Saturn sits in Pisces. Therefore, we are confronting our previous conditioning that created a conditioned sense of security, self worth, and patterns that are not aligned with who we naturally are.

This part of the New Moon in Capricorn is providing a pathway to new soil that we are building in a tangible way that Jupiter will now provide resources as we move forward. We must be willing to let go of the previous conditioning that is ready to be healed and dissolved. 

Mars Capricorn is sextiling Saturn in Pisces and trining Jupiter in Taurus.

Mars represents our desires. Pluto is our soul who reveals our unconscious desires through Mars who makes them conscious and acts them out into the physical world. This is how we evolve. Mars, our desires and actions are clear and we follow this impulse to make it a part of our reality.

Venus in Sagittarius is trining Chiron in Aries. We are supported to release ourselves from the wounds of the past where we believed we didn’t have the right to exist. We do and we are valued unconditionally.

We are READY to dissolve the previous conditioning of what previously constituted our inner security. But, first we will experience the full moon in Cancer at 5 degrees opposing the sun at 5 degrees of Capricorn.

The house in which wherever you have 5 degrees of Cancer and Capricorn is where this energy will likely show up. When there’s an opposition such as this with the sun and the moon, a change is required and we must let something go.

There is a need for us to gracefully confront our shadows of old wounds from cycles that are ready to close out. This is the energy of perhaps a whole lifetime of lessons coming to a culmination. It’s important that we choose self love and acceptance without judgment. There is a higher perspective of unconditional love that we can always choose. The power in this full moon is to allow for our emotions to flow with grace and ease. To know that this is a cycle releasing what is left and what is no longer going with us in 2024. 

This full moon takes place on the same day that Chiron in Aries goes direct. We have moved through some deep lessons and wounds that have reminded us we have a right to exist as we naturally are. Chiron originally went retrograde in July, so we have been moving through some rough emotional waters within and within our relationships since then as we reclaim our sense of self and become our own self leader. 

Back to the original question of the best way to move through these emotional waters and manage the ebbs and flows:

To begin, having a daily meditation practice cultivates a relationship with our inner voice which is deeply calling us forward to remember who we are.

Secondly, engage in activities that allow for us to move energy through our bodies that ultimately will have us feeling good about ourselves.

What is this new moon about?

This is a new moon that is blasting away the old beliefs, patterns, and non truths we have been carrying for months, and for some, many years. This is the turning point of letting go of the old unconscious beliefs around self worth that are no longer true and do not serve our highest good.

This new moon in Sagittarius is about truth and our perception of truth. What are our belief systems and what resonates with us that feels aligned from within? Do we feel safe and trust ourselves to go within. If not, activations to heal and transmute old ways will take place.

This new moon is ruled by Jupiter, which is retrograde in the sign of Taurus. This energetically shows us from within our consciousness, new ways of relating to ourselves that signify our self worth and value now.

What have you healed through, transmuted, and metamorphosed in your life?

How are you different now and what are you ready to pursue, explore and take ownership of at this time? Jupiter is the ruler of this new moon, however we must follow the energy trail. Jupiter is in Taurus, ruled by Venus. Venus is in the sign of Scorpio purging old ways of feeling disempowered, entrapped, and co-dependant. She is reclaiming her self worth and creating space for cultivating intimate relationships founded in truth, respect, and equal partnership. Pluto is showing us all the ways in which the old external structures and what used to constitute our inner security no longer has value. Starting on June 13th, the planet Venus which represents all things we love and that bring us joy in this Earthly realm, is in an inconjunct with Saturn. Saturn represents the physical world, our responsibilities, what we need to take care of, how are you showing up in the world with integrity and authority. An inconjunct in evolutionary astrology is a humbling aspect and transit. It is a blind spot, perhaps the way in which we make excuses based on a false sense of self, conditioning, or belief that is only limiting us and lacking truth. The aspect allows us to feel humbled which motivates us to take a deeper look at what is really underneath this leading us to our truth. As Venus is gearing up for her retrograde in Leo later in July, Saturn is asking us to take care of something that needs to be handled. This could be an internal energy, depending on where 7 degrees of Leo is in your chart. Venus is at 7 degrees of Leo and Saturn is at 7 degrees of Pisces. Venus is our values, how we innerelate to ourselves and how to give and receive love, abundance, prosperity, joy, creativity; all things and people we love which begin with ourselves. Saturn may be standing over you in his office going through his checklist in regards to whether or not you have been honoring your new sense of self value and love within yourself as we move through the end of a massive cycle and into a new one. This transit could feel heavy, challenging, as if you have let yourself down, and in many ways could feel depressing. Remember to allow yourself to feel objectively as this transit is wanting to bring an awareness to your consciousness that inspires you to elevate your standard when it comes to your self worth and values and then to sustain it. From now until November 2023, Pluto will be squaring the nodal axis. The nodal axis is the south node and the north node of the moon. The south node represents what we are letting go of and moving away from. The north node represents who we are elevating to become that represents who we truly are. The north node is ending its time in Taurus, which is ruled by Venus and the south node is in Scorpio, which is ruled by Mars. Keep in mind, Venus and Mars are both in Leo within a 5 degree orb, also known as a conjunction. In multiple ways, our masculine and feminine energy are landing on the same page. We have been through a lot when it comes to de-conditioning, reprogramming, transforming, and for some, metamorphosing ourselves through all the change happening on the planet. Pluto is now retrograde in Capricorn and as mentioned, he is squaring the nodal axis. In evolutionary astrology, we look to the planet or point on the left as the resolution node which is the south node. On a soul level, we are collectively letting go of and shedding the past around themes of disempowerment, toxic psychological & emotional patterns that are outdated and no longer serving a positive purpose, loss, abandonment, and betrayal. When we consciously work through letting go of these themes in our lives that revolve around choices we have made based on conditioning and not who we truly are, we can liberate ourselves during this purge so that we are ready for the new starts taking place through 2025-2026. Pluto transits are uncomfortable. They lead to metamorphosis on a soul level in addition to truth that leads to empowerment as we transform from the caterpillar to the butterfly. 

The new moon in Gemini takes place on June 17th, 2023 at 9:36 pm PST at 27 degrees of the sign of communication. When a new moon takes place, it is exactly conjunct with the sun, which is traditionally a beautiful time to set a new intention for yourself as it represents a new start. This new moon is unique because it is opposite the galactic center in addition to being square to Neptune in Pisces. The galactic center is at 27 degrees of Sagittarius and represents a black hole in our solar system that essentially created the Milky Way and the cosmos. It’s something our minds can’t really grasp, but our intuition and the cosmos within us, knows the truth. Anyone with a planet or point at 27 degrees of Sagittarius in their natal chart has the capacity to be a channel for cosmic and universal wisdom to come through their consciousness here on Earth. One may have a galactic relationship with the higher realms versus someone who doesn’t have a planet or point there. 

During this new moon in Gemini, our ability to communicate words will be a challenge. Our bodies will need more rest and our dreams will be more vivid. This weekend, we are encouraged to feel and to trust our intuition. From our mind’s perspective, the typical Gemini frame of mind, we will not have all the information, the answers, and will feel we are missing chunks of the whole story. There may be deception playing a role within stories, communication, and situations that seem important at the time, perhaps situations that have been an ongoing significance in your life. The overall message here is to trust what your body feels and to look within for the answer. Your brain doesn’t have the answer. It’s not in your thought process. The Gemini New Moon being opposite to the galactic center is bringing in cosmic downloads of information that are intuition and bodies are processing that will need time to process. This is where some are going to be shocked by the need to trust their intuition because perhaps for the first time, it is the only truth they can hear and it’s extremely loud. Those with planets or points at the galactic center, will be receiving an abundance of information through their intuition that will make sense later; and during this time, it may simply feel like you are tired and need to sleep for longer periods of time. 

On June 18th, the day after the Gemini New Moon, Saturn in Pisces goes retrograde for 4 months. This is going to feel like a shifting of gears where the brakes are pressed and the shutting down of electricity takes place. Saturn is the ruler of Capricorn and currently rules Pluto, retrograde in Capricorn. Pluto is your soul and carries your soul’s truth and intention in this lifetime. Saturn is calling us forth to honor what we are ready to let go of. The cycles that are necessary and ready to close. Saturn is calling upon us to release the conditioning that has kept us from living in our truth for the past 30 years. Saturn is in Pisces, the last sign of the zodiac. It takes 28-30 years to travel around the entire zodiac wheel. Therefore, we are moving through the endings required for us to step into our true, natural selves so tha when Saturn moves into Aries in 2025/2026, we are ready, purified, and fresh for the new cycles to begin. It’s interesting because when Saturn enters Aries in 2025, he will enter along with Neptune. Both are currently in Pisces and shining a light on what we continuously are unraveling and letting go of within ourselves and within our intimate worlds. 

This new moon in Gemini is a reminder to follow the energy trail. To listen and to trust the energetics, the unseen, what you can feel and sense, but can’t see with the physical eye. This is a beautiful opportunity for us to learn about how much we trust what we cannot see, but feel and sense. This is where we recognize what we are energetically attracted to and how we measure truth around what we feel. Keep in mind, you may not know how you feel. This is also where we choose to trust. What we need to know will be revealed to us at the perfect time we are ready to learn. 

We heal through the emotional body and in evolutionary astrology, that is Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces. It is our emotions that reveal truth and the power within us to get in the river naked, because all bodies of water lead to the ocean. This Neptune in Pisces squaring the new moon in Gemini is supporting us letting go of overthinking and to let go of the rumination that leads nowhere except exhaustion. It is also leading us back to the ocean, which is the womb and where all endings, and creation takes place. 

Another positive aspect of this week is Jupiter is just about to reach 7 degrees of Taurus while in a sextile with Saturn in Pisces at 7 degrees, retrograde. What does this mean?! It means that as Saturn is bringing forth the endings necessary to take place related to themes around Pluto in Capricorn (just think about what you have been deeply changing and evolving in your life since 2008) While Saturn is reworking and revisiting what needs to change and end during this time with integrity, kindness, respect and maturity, he is holding space for Jupiter in the new beginnings that are aligned with our natural selves and truth within. Jupiter brings in the resources we need in order to operate from the vantage point of who we truly are. Saturn supports us in these new beginnings and they will begin to manifest. It’s also very important to note that Pluto is just about to transit back over that Aries Solar Eclipse point at 29 degrees, 50 minutes of Aries which is a purge of endings. It’s also the trajectory of the clear new beginnings that are catapulting us into the next two years of our lives. These new beginnings reflect our new sense of self and who we are gearing up to be in 2025/2026 as Saturn enters Aries beginning a brand new 30 year cycle.
